Purpose
Michael and Esther Gray founded Grace Extended Ministries International to help bring the church together into a deeper understanding of the Great Commission through knowing God intimately. As we grow deeper in our love for God we acknowledge His cry in our hearts to reach out to all peoples and all nations. Michael and Esther work with churches and ministries worldwide with particular emphasis in Africa and India to train and equip others to spread the gospel message of Jesus through a greater heartfelt understanding of love for our Savior.
Meet Michael and Esther Gray
Michael has a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Willamette University and a Masters of Divinity degree from George Fox University Seminary. He has been a business owner and served as an interim senior pastor and as an outreach and missions pastor for nearly eight years. He was instrumental in the vision and implementation of a major evangelistic festival in Central Washington in 2005 that attracted over 22,000 people with over 1200 decisions made for Christ. From October, 2006 to the beginning of Grace Extended Ministries International in March, 2009, Michael served as the Executive Director/Pastor of Evangelistic Ministries for Passion 4 People International. Michael is an international speaker, teacher, equipper, and evangelist. He is a leader and teacher with a vision for prayer, a passion for evangelism, and a deep love for the hurting and oppressed people of the world. Currently, Michael serves as President and International Director for Grace Extended Ministries International.
His wife, Esther, a former teacher, has several years of full time missions experience and is devoted to prayer, teaching, and to reaching the world for Christ. She served with AIM Missions for over five years and taught at Rift Valley Academy in Kenya. Michael and Esther normally travel and serve as a team. They will often be asked to put on marriage seminars in the nations they visit. Esther serves alongside Michael as Women’s and Children’s Director for the ministry. Michael and Esther have two grown children who share similar passions for worldwide ministry.
Vision: To equip nationals around the world in prayer, grace focused evangelism, reconciliation, and discipleship, and to proclaim the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
Mission: To train pastors and Christians abroad and in the U.S. in prayer, grace evangelism, reconciliation, and discipleship so that they may broaden their prayer and evangelistic efforts to reach non-believers with the gospel.
A calling to the nations: With a willingness to go wherever God leads, Grace Extended Ministry International’s primary focus is in Africa, southern India, and to those organizations (e.g. Olympics, churches, para-church ministry, etc.) both in the U.S. and abroad who desire training and equipping in the area of prayer and evangelism. However, we will go wherever God leads. We also serve as a training, equipping, and sending ministry and raise up and empower prayer and grace oriented evangelists to minister abroad with us.
